As a former collegiate athlete that was the first to attend and graduate college from his working-class family - I speak from experience when helping teens and young adults cope with the pressures that they regularly face in this day and age. My areas of expertise include adjustment issues, substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger management, and healthy lifestyle practices. I have worked with all genders and age groups coping with a range of unique challenges - all are welcome! There is no cookie-cutter approach to therapy. I am an evidence-based practitioner formally trained and certified in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) , and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Not only is it important to address how we think about ourselves and our place in this world, but also how we treat our physical selves in the process.
