I love working with children, individuals, couples and families with a variety of diagnoses. I specialize in Anxiety, Attachment, PTSD and trauma including children with Anxiety, Behavior disorders, ADHD and ADD. I'm successful using EMDR, Family Systems Theory and effective Parenting skills. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy approaches; teach effective play therapy and behavior skills that individuals can become proficient as well as communication skills where one feels understood and validated. Children come with a variety of issues and trauma that stem from their ineutero experience up to their first 5 years of life. Many issues and trauma can be healed or reduced through the use of EMDR. Using a family system approach works best in creating a workable environment for all family members. The biggest distinction from other counselors is that I am directive and use a family system approach. I have designed a unique program that helps both parents and children reach the highest form of love and respect.
