Hello! Thank you for your interest in my practice. My goal as a licensed professional counselor is to help you through whatever difficulties you are facing with kindness and compassion. My training and experience has been focused on helping people who struggle with anxiety and depression to reduce self-criticism and learn mindful ways to cope with their stress. Let’s connect if you have been feeling overwhelmed and need someone to talk to. I utilize mindfulness based methods to help clients build awareness around their automatic patterns of thoughts and emotions without judgment or shame. We then work together to develop a compassionate understanding of how you came to be the version of yourself you are today. Once we have a good understanding of who you are and why, sessions focus on implementing the changes you want to see with specific behaviors strategies we create together. I focus on making sessions feel both informative and cathartic. Sessions will often be lighthearted and humorous when they can be, but they will always be focused on your growth and goals. I work hard to make sure that my office always feels like a place you can come to in order to heal and listened to.
