I am a therapist who believes in using a holistic approach that addresses all aspects of a person's life and lifestyle when working with individuals. I have a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and have specialized in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and stress management. I am trained in the modalities of CBT, DBT, and ACT to provide individuals with the appropriate therapeutic interventions to address an individual'ss needs. My approach to working with an individual includes active and empathetic listening, thinking together, coaching, sharing ideas, and seeking feedback. In addition, some of the more critical skills that have enabled me to provide effective therapy involve both empathetic understanding of the person and gaining trust, with the goal of fostering a positive, therapeutic relationship. My goal is to guide individuals into finding balance in their mental health and ultimately increase their overall wellness and wellbeing. I believe that building trust in a therapeutic relationship while providing the therapeutic tools needed to improve a person's life is essential to successful therapy. I am passionate about helping individuals maximize their potential, and helping facilitate a deeper understanding of themselves.
